Hello!
Would it be possible that, in the recording window, XnViewMP, like XnView, has a button to check and quickly change the compression ratio? Or is it tricky because of the multiplatform nature of XnViewMP?
Thanks.

Was this talk read? Or is my question stupid?

Re: Check and quickly choose the compression ratio
Currently there is a problem to add it like xnView Classic. But it will be better, i need to check how to add 'options' in filename dialog

Re: Check and quickly choose the compression ratio
This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.93. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Re: Check and quickly choose the compression ratio
Unless I'm mistaken, it works perfectly on Windows 10. As soon as I check it out on (x) Ubuntu, I come back to confirm!xnview wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 1:52 pmThis problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.93. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
Thank you, Pierre.

NB: hard installation because of Avast, which obviously doesn't recognize the install file; used the ZIP in the end!

Is the function supposed to be present in the Xubuntu version? I don't see it...
Re: Check and quickly choose the compression ratio
If, on Ubuntu, it isn't possible to change the compression directly in the recording dialog, could one at least have the display of the compression used? Like that, if it fits, just continue ...
I juggle a lot with different compressions: for the Web, strong compression; for other uses, reduced compression.
A quick knowledge of the compression is really useful in my opinion!
