How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
It is always some older folder for export, neither current folder of the used images nor a predefined one.
Re: How to change strip (joined images) saving place behavior
you means the default folder used by save dialog?
Pierre.
Re: How to change strip (joined images) saving place behavior
@xnview yes, for some reason for strips the destination save folder offers neither the source files folder, nor the default saving folder, but some other - much older - previously used place.
Re: How to change strip (joined images) saving place behavior
you means when you 'save 'as the result of joined images in edit mode?
Pierre.
Re: How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
"Save as"
"export"
both are forwarding to previous save location, instead of current folder.
I'd like files to default to source folder when saving with either option.

Re: How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
perhaps better is to add Output from Split dialog??
Pierre.
Re: How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
Is there any solution for this?
Re: How to change strip (joined images) saving place behavior
so you would like to use current folder when saving created joined image?
Pierre.
Re: How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
something like this:
- align controls
- 'current folder' shall be default path
- determining current folder may be tricky when there are files from multiple folders, probably use 1st file as source
- once user changes folder - use it until user clear it, then (on tool restart) auto-paste current folder
side note: 'current folder' can be worded in Folder field in gray as hint text, but only in cases when there are multiple current folders possible (eg in Batch convert), otherwise its better to show explicit path
