Save all opened files

Post by trumarcar »

There used to be an option to save all opened files in but I can't find this option with new version. Is it still possible?

Hi,

I also urgently need this function from XnView in XnViewMP.

Would it be possible to set up the automatic saving even more flexible via the options ?

Since in XnViewMP the open tabs can be reordered, it would be important for me that the autosave function can number the saved files in the same order as the tabs are displayed.

Here is an example:

I copy from VirtualDub many frames from a video to XnViewMP. Therefore the images are pasted like this:

Clipboard-1, Clipboard-2, Clipboard-3, ...

Since this order is not necessarily chronological, I re-sort the tabs by drag and drop so that the order is now e.g:

Clipboard-1, Clipboard-3, Clipboard-2.

It would be fantastic if XnViewMP would now be able to save all these open images not just with the extension appended to the predefined clipboard name, but with the new tab order and a wildcard option to be set (e.g. like in FFMPEG) "basename%03d.jpg" the tabs are now saved from left to right as basename001.jpg, basename002.jpg and basename003.jpg

Since I also program automated tools myself, it would also be great if I could start XnViewMP with a command line parameter that predefines the working directory where the images are all automatically saved to.

Thank you very much !
