Had success with first group of images. Then went to a second group to batch rename and got the message that the operation could not be done. However I was able to rename an individual image without problem.

Effect: <What's the effect for the user? Examples: Program crashes, Program hangs, files are deleted, display glitch, focus is lost, ...>

To reproduce:
1. Tried to do the rename again but had no luck.

could you descrive the way to reproduce? screenshot of rename dialog?

Hello i have the same problem, I have the same problem. If I want to rename in batches, it gives me an error, but if I want to do it one photo at a time, there is no problem. I also have this problem. If I want to convert the image format in batches and delete the original version, then I can only convert the images, for example, from AVIF to JPG. Then I have to go to the folder and delete the ones in AVIF format.
