When I open image "A" in viewer and then I switch to the browser, image "A" is focused. When I double-click on second image "B", the image "A" is displayed in the viewer. Enter key doesn't work either. Please, can you fix it?

Edit: I noticed, that improper, previous image is displayed if I click the "B" image before image "B" is redrawn in Preview pane. If I wait a little bit until image "B" is refreshed in Preview pane, then image "B" is also correctly displayied in fullscreen mode.

so you click on image B before than preview's loading is finished?

With version 1.9.x I am experiencing a similar (same?) issue when using a specific switching mode, but unluckily I am not able to find a way to reproduce it every time. It does happen most of the time, though.

1. Start with a fresh portable Windows version.
2. Settings > Switching modes: select Browser-Fullscreen | Viewer-Fullscreen
3. In browser, select a folder with multiple images
4. Double-click image A. It opens in fullscreen. Double-click again to close the image.
5. Double-click image B. The previous image, A, opens instead of the chosen one.

I can confirm that the problem is fully reproducible when browsing files in format that loads slower than JPGs (like HEIF).
When you try to open the image from the list, and this image is not loaded to the preview yet, the one in the preview will be opened, not the one double clicked.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Using ver. 1.9.3 for a day or so, I didn't notice any such problems, so it looks fixed to me. Thank you!
