XnView doesn't support European fonts

Hi ,
1. When I use pics with file name thant included those font :
â,ã,ä,å,ü,ö,è
the pic doesn't open.
How can I fix it ?
2. how can I make it open the pics according to their names ( in order )

strange, I use å, ä and ö daily, and it works fine.

Mabe because EN version ?
the software put ? mark instead and open the entire software.

xnview uses the system default text font, if you've changed it away from tahoma or ms sans serif, and whatever font you changed it to doesn't have extended or unicode characters, well....
Windows explorer will use the same font as xnview. If it works in explorer and not in xnview, there's some weirdness in your system.
It could also be that xnview, or your whole system, is set to a code page that doesn't display extended ascii characters correctly.

My system set to work both in ENGLISH and in HEBREW - maby I choose some additional fonts from " regional and language options" - Advanced tab - under the Code... ?
