Naming templates - switch on/off adding to list; cleaning list

Hello,
as far as I understand, in the batch rename dialogue all newly entered naming templates are going to be remembered and will populate the dropdown list next time. As the list doesn't grow indefinitely long it looks like older entries are going to be deleted as newer ones are entered.
I would like to change this behaviour. Sometimes I have to do a lot of renaming in a way that will not occur again, and all my new entries clutter the list and squeeze out the ones I still need. So I would like to have
  • a checkbox "add this template to the list" that can be selected every time I use the dialogue
  • a possibility to edit the list selectively (not just delete the whole list, which is probably what the button does - I never dared to try)
At the moment I work around this by editing the xnview.ini. I quit XnView after every couple of renaming actions, delete the new items from the ini file and start XnView again to continue.
Best regards
Joachim

this is weird approach
better to add Presets functionality that will save all tool's settings, eg like in Batch convert

The reason why I suggested it this way is, that there are cases when I want the template I create to be added to the preset s list and cases when I don't want this. A global preset to change the default behaviour might be a good idea (always add/never add/user choice and remember last user choice). But my point is that I don't want the same behaviour all the time.
