XnView Software

This used to work but now captions don't show.

I tried XnViewClassic Version 2.51.2.

Create/SlideShow/More Options/ShowInformation and then
<IPTC:Caption Writer> <Date Taken [Y-m-d]>

I also tried XnVIew MP 1.9.5 64 bit.

Tools/Slideshow/Settings/ShowInformation and then
<IPTC:Caption Writer> <Date Taken [Y-m-d]>


Neither works (no captions). Help please.

I entered a caption ("sample caption") in the first field of Edit Iptc dialog (for selected photos)
and a caption writer ("author : me") in the second field
then added <IPTC:Caption> and <IPTC:Caption Writer> in the slideshow
