In the xnview browser in the context menu is a shortcut called copy path name
This only copies the folder path, it doesn't attach the filename.ext to the end of that path...
which it should.. or at least another type of option that does would be very good...
a hotkey that worked globally would also be very good that did this...
please please please add this as its soo annoying looking at images in xnview, but then having to use windows shiity thumbnails to try and find the same pictures to then upload... much easier to just use a shortcut in xnview that copies the full path to that image etc..

Re: Shortcut copy path
just want to add that even the image properties dialog
the filename: "finally.jpg"
and folder path: "c:\images\images\images\"
are on 2 seperate lines...
its ok.. but you can see how xnview doesn't at all provide anyway of being able to copy the full path of a image
like "c:\images\images\images\finally.jpg"

Support that suggestion
Hi.
I fully support this suggestion.
Having the abilyty to copy path makes it a lot easier when inserting an image in a forum because you don't need to browse for it manually in open file dialog box, just paste it's path.

Re: Shortcut copy path
Sorry but i don't understand. 'Copy' or Ctrl+C copy the full filename (path+name)

Re: Shortcut copy path
Oh, sorry. The feature is already implemented in XnView
Should have actually tested this instead of agree with OP
