Pierre,
when I rotate a PNG image for let's say -20 degrees, the newly added areas (i.e. outside the original image) become transparent and do not get colored with the selected background color. Is this by intention? It does make sense with image formats that support transparency. But there should be a toggle somewhere on whether I want the background color applied or not.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I forgot to set the notify-me option.xnview wrote:i can't reproduce, your image is 32bits?
Yes, the image in question is 32 bits. Attached.
If I rotate this image for any non-orthogonal angle, the (new) background becomes transparent even though the setting is black.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.79 or later. Could you please try and confirm the bug fix, dietmar?
