0.84: Set selection ratio

Post by XnTriq »

  1. Deactivate Rotate images according to EXIF orientation tag in Tools » Settings... » General » General.
  2. Open IMG_3256.JPG.
  3. Go to Edit » Properties...:
    • Properties » Image » Width: 4000
    • Properties » Image » Height: 3000
    • Properties » Image » Origin: Top-Left :bug:
    • EXIF » Camera » Orientation: right-top (6)
  4. Activate Same as image in Edit » Set selection ratio.
  5. If you select an area of the image with the mouse, the selection will be 3:4 although the image's ratio is 4:3. :bug:

XnTriq, I'd try to reproduce your problem but the links to the images no longer work. Could you please upload your two images, again?

Hi:
If you select an area of the image with the mouse, the selection will be 4:3 although the image's ratio is 3:4. :bug:
I have also seen this when working in fullscreen.
It seems to only happen when setting selection by Ratio setting, "W x H" get flipped. :bug:

Setting Selection by Pixels seem to work fine.

Thanks

Confirmed fixed. (I'm not sure about the correct value of orientation. But selection ratios are correct).
