0.76: Batch rename thumbnail enlarges constantly

xnView 0.76MP (Windows 8.1 x64)

Batch rename dialog.... every time you select or reorder an image from the list below, the thumbnail size on the top right keeps increasing in size.

Hello, this is still happening in 0.83.

Very simple to duplicate...

1) Select a bunch of photos.

2) Choose batch rename from the menu.

3) Start selecting different images from the list, also nudging them up/down.

Watch the top part of the panel enlarge by a few pixels each time.

Thank you for your bug report, Evan. Partly I could reproduce your problem:
When batch renaming multiple files with different aspect ratio and/or size and then selecting them in the "Batch rename" dialog, the size of the preview changes it's size by one pixel. This results in the top left panel with the name template to also change slitghly in size.

So I experience both shrinking and enlarging by 1 pixel. Is this the problem you mean, Evan?

An important thing to reproduce the problem:
Select files with and without embedded thumbnail for batch renaming (Alternatively you can disable the setting "Use embedded thumbnail" in Tools » Settings | Browser » Thumbnail | Misc.).

Problem occurs both on Windows XP 32 bit and Windows 10 64 bit. With SVG files its even worse. Attached please fine three files which should make reproducing the problem easy. (Unzip, select in browser, press F2, and then navigate through the images.)

Problem still occurs in 0.85 beta 2. From what I can see it got even worse: The enlarging isn't just horizontally but also vertically. I can upload a screen capture video if needed.

Pierre, it's a bit irritating but not really a serious problem. Simply postpone it if you want.
