0.85 Linux: Ugly context menu

Post by rmtk »

There are some new lines added to the context menu in 0.85, so it looks like this now:

Maybe I can't call it a bug, but it's much better to put everything in a single column.

Thank you, rmtk, for your defect report. The context menu covers two columns because of the small height of your screen (~640 pixels). Could you please try enlarging your screen and see what happens?

My screen is 1366*768 and the Xnview window is maximized.

I think the following items can be removed:
open containing folder (always greyed out)
send by email
open GPS location in Geohack
rebuild thumbnails

Hello:

I agree. I have 1360x768 and the same issue.

I think if you can combine 2 or so options into a fily-out would work also.

And the lower part of the settings window including the OK and cancel buttons is missing. I can't reduce the window height.

But there is still a redundant line in the context menu.

Looks like another menu item has to be removed from the context menu. I wonder which one.

Though it may look ugly, I guess that's actually the expected behavior in this case for context menus.

Now, not having the 'OK/Cancel' buttons visible on dialogs, that might be a problem.
