0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults

0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults
XnView: MP 0.87 64 bit
OS: Windows 7 64bit
I like to configure the "Auto image size" default settings for the Viewer to "No Fit".
This is useful, while browsing, to check an image's real size on double-click (the Preview panel is set to "Fit image, large only").
However, while scrolling pictures in the Viewer, I often choose a temporary different "Auto image size".
Well, that option doesn't seem to stick in 0.87: it resets to the default for every image!
In the old 0.86, the selected mode remained enabled until I changed it or exited the Viewer\Program.
Effect: if I scroll pictures in the Viewer, I'll have to re-enable the selected mode for every single image..
To reproduce:
1- set a default for "Auto image size" for the Viewer (e.g: "No Fit")
2- open a folder containing images larger than your monitor
3- enter the Viewer (double-click on a file)
4- set "Auto image size" to something different (e.g: "Fit image, large only")
5- go to next image (use arrows or scroll mouse wheel)
Actual behaviour (bug): "Auto image size" will return to the default setting
Expected behaviour: it should temporarly remain to what I've set, until I'll exit the Viewer\Program.
P.s: other things I noticed:
- "Real Size" isn't also remembered when scrolling through images.
- zoom level, instead, is remembered even if I don't select "Lock zoom".
- the fullscreen "No fit" default setting doesn't seem to work.
- both "Real Size" and "Fit image, large only" are still without an icon (the latter is quite big in a button).

Re: 0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults
Thank you.xnview wrote:will be fixed in 0.88
Btw, please check also the ending notes.
(I've just added another thing)
Re: 0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults
Umm.. there are still some problems in 0.88.xnview wrote:will be fixed in 0.88
1- I set the default to "No fit".
2- pressed "fit image to window, large only" in the Viewer.
3- the temporary setting is now remembered when scrolling images, but.. in a wrong way.
If, for example, the first one was scaled to 30% to fit the screen, all the others will mantain that 30%, instead of being independently resized to fit the screen.
---
And all the other bugs are still present:
- the "Real Size" button has now the same issue mentioned above.
- zoom level is again remembered even if I don't select "Lock zoom".
- the fullscreen default setting (e.g: "No fit") doesn't seem to still work.
- both "Real Size" and "Fit image, large only" are without an icon yet.

Please create a topic for each bug, and how to reproduce itAnd all the other bugs are still present:

Re: 0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults
Can I pass you my config instead?
Maybe you'll be able to verify all the bugs directly.

Did you manage to reproduce the errors with my config?xnview wrote:[..]

yes, you can uncheck Settings>View>Reset 'auto image size' setting to have previous behaviorphaolo wrote:Did you manage to reproduce the errors with my config?xnview wrote:[..]

Re: 0.87: "Auto image size" should temporary override the defaults
Ok cool, now "No Fit" and "Fit image" work like before for both Viewer and Fullscreen.xnview wrote:yes, you can uncheck Settings>View>Reset 'auto image size' setting to have previous behaviorphaolo wrote:Did you manage to reproduce the errors with my config?
The other 2 problems still remain, however ("Real Size","Lock zoom").

I thought that we skipped that with the config file..xnview wrote:please make a post per problemphaolo wrote: The other 2 problems still remain, however ("Real Size","Lock zoom").
Oh well, ok, but please improve the bug submission format, because it's unnecessarily complex for simple reports.
