Default View-How to configure?

When viewing as Thumbnails and Labels, the only labels visible below each thumbnail are file name, file type and dimensions.

Is there any way to make IPTC metadata fields (Caption and Keywords) also appear under each thumbnail, as editable fields, in thumbnail view?

Having to right click each image, select "Edit IPTC data", wait for a window to pop up, select the Caption tab, and type in a caption, then select the Keywords tab, and either manually type keywords 'on the fly' or click the "Defined keywords list" dropdown, choose a defined keyword list, locate a desired keyword, and enter it, seems incredibly tedious - can't this all be user-configured to happen right in thumbnails view, to speed up the assignment of metadata when processing hundreds (or thousands) of images?
