xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

Post by xn-viewer »

upon test-batch converting pngs to webp with xnviewmp 0.94.1 (linux), i made sure to tick option "delete original", but for some unknown reason, the png files are still to be found in their respective locations.

for testing purposes, i ran xnview portable (via wine).

file deletion is fine with the batch-converter on this end. perhaps a bug in xnviewmp?

it is the same with xnconvert for linux, so i believe it is originally a bug within this software.

really no one with similar problems here?

i found this old thread dealing with similar problems.

viewtopic.php?t=30588

playing around with Settings>General>File operations recylce options as a workaround was not much of a help though.

If 'delete' is enabled + multi core, you should have a message box. Currently there is an issue

sorry, don't exactly remember.

i know there was some sort of message box: multicore only avaiable with 'überschreiben - keine rückfrage / overwrite - no feedback'

but this option is already enabled, as you can see.
