the treeview for browsing should be automatically popup if the mouse cursor moves to the left monitor border
and it should hide if the mousecursor move away from the monitor border
similar like in Maxthon

Should it be like in Maxthon - as a mouse gesture (without a click), or like in Opera.
There remains a very small visible 'mouse pointer landing zone' with an indicating small arrow. For any action a click is nessecary.
