- single click - select index only (frame around index - indicates selection, not transparency).
So, there will be no indication of transparency in index area itself, that is ok for now.
As for Transparency checkbox - it shall indicate current Transparency state of the selected index.
- double click (left/right/mid button) - open color picker (no changes here)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
