It is not the same, a folder with many files, having to go selecting file by file and moving them to show the image, is impractical.
And it doesn't always show the image, and if it does, it is a small image, and not very sharp.
The Windows file explorer can be configured to show the image in the preview pane, but having it configured like this, makes that large files, or even PDF files, take time to be displayed in the preview, that slows down other actions, such as error when using the key combination Ctrl + C to copy a file, I also use to copy files TeraCopy, and also does not let you copy the file until it is not displayed in the preview.
That's why I think that, if you can have this option, it would be very interesting, as well as practical.
