BIG BUG = IPTC Replaces # with 0

I don't know how long this has been going on, hopefully just since I switched to the latest version.

In the IPTC Editor, no matter where I may have the number symbol #, IPTC replaces it with 0 (a zero).

This holds true in any field I have checked.

For instance, I wish to use "GATX 3-bay Covered Hopper #GACX 121869" and instead I get "GATX 3-bay Covered Hopper 0GACX 121869"

I made this test to see if the problem was only with the # symbol or with all symbols:

TEST $ # @ * % ! ? / \ [ ] { } TEST

I pasted this in every field and the results were the same in all of them:

TEST $ 0 @ * % ! ? / \ [ ] { } TEST

I just now caught this; I hope it hasn't screwed up thousands of my images and only a few dozen.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.0 beta. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

With 1.5.0 beta 1, this looks to me to be fixed, when using Edit IPTC, but is still there with Edit XMP - both set to Mode: XMP, update or create IPTC-IIM.

(Windows 10, fresh configuration plus some needed settings)

The additional issue with Edit XMP was fixed in b2, as it was meant to be. In b3, this is still OK, so it could be considered as fixed, I believe. Only tested on Windows.
