Batch convert - move controls between Output and Settings

Post by user0 »

XnViewMP 1.4.5 64bit
Windows11 (22H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Batch convert
minor UI adjustments
  • move 'Use multiple CPU Cores' from Output to Settings tab
  • move 'Beep at the end of process' from Settings to Output tab (to 'After conversion' group)
    OR
move whole 'After conversion' group from Output to Settings tab, as Output is about destination/filename/format, but not bout what happens after
  • realign controls on Settings tab to the top as there is some regression

Not sure
  • move 'Beep at the end of process' from Settings to Output tab (to 'After conversion' group)
    • realign controls on Settings tab to the top as there is some regression
See issue for current status and some details.

Not sure
if its "core per file" and not "coreS per file" - it has some sense to keep this setting in Output tab,
but to my taste Output tab shall be only about "what(filename/format)/where(folder/etc..)", not "how", especially if there is Settings tab
