Compare tool - zoom in/out with mousewheel - different viewing areas

Post by masterjp »

1. Start Thumbnail viewer
2. Select 2 pictures with the same size and thing
3. Move the mouse in the middle of one picture
4. Move the mousewheel up or down for zoom in/out
5. The pictures of comparison windows show different areas of the same picture!
.
I expected, that they show the same area.

1.5.0b3
it is fixed, but now zoom always in the middle

expected behaviour
  • mouse wheel - zoom to the cursor
how to deal with images of different sizes - all images shall be treated as imge of max size,
so just position small image in the middle and add extra space to match biggest one.
Now you can zoom to mouse cursor witout issues.
  • keyboard +/- - zoom the the center

it's not easy, when fixing this issue, the only way is to zoom to the center.
Pierre.
