Xmp files in Image View Mode after installing XnView Mp 1.5.3

Dear team,

after installing the new version XnView MP 1.5.3 the following error appears when working in Image View Mode:

After each image the corresponding *.xmp file is displayed.
In the corresponding tab the name of the image is displayed.

Scrolling to the next image is only possible via the arrow key in the top menu.

*.pp3 files are not displayed.


I use Windows 11 22H2 (Built 22621.2134)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I just have install the new XnView MP version.
But, I can't confirm the bug fix. The bug is still there.

what do you have in Settings>View>Filter? Do you open the image from windows explorer or XnView browser?

Hello Pierre,
I am currently on the road and can therefore not answer the settings for View Filter. I will do so as soon as I am back in front of my computer.
I always open/view the images in XnView MP.

I have removed the checkmark for "Text". With this, the viewer works as it should.
