Hello!,
Just to be sure, is Lanczos 4 supposed to be that slow for the high zoom quality compared to all the other methods (even lanczos 3), in opening images?. The lag from from switching from one image to the next in full-screen mode is very noticeable. Sometimes i wonder if I reached the last image just for 3 images to go flinging by in quick succession.
I think my PC is no slouch (7950X3D, RX7900 XTX, 32 GB 6000 Mt/s), so i was wondering if it is really that demanding.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for confirming that, i thought maybe my PC was faltering.
And thank you for all your efforts, this is truly amazing work.

Yeah, that’s normal — Lanczos 4 is pretty heavy compared to the others. It prioritizes image quality over speed, so even with strong hardware you’ll notice lag when switching images. If it’s too slow, Lanczos 3 or Bicubic is usually a good balance.faltonico wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:19 pm Hello!,
