Ok, currently embedded metadata is not supported for video file...

Hi, understood.
Where are the video rating stored when this is set in XnView MP?
I’d like to be sure that ratings assigned in XnView MP are also visible in other tools, such as Microsoft Explorer, digiKam etc

Are there any workaround ?(for example save video metadata in xmp files, image metadata embedded )

you can use sidecar for video files
