RC1: Colors in view as list mode bug?

Post by ckv »

I notice this accidentally while testing handle leak => http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=22581#22581

When you view files as list in browser, the file name backround color for the different file types disappears while browsing. If you change the view as to list mode, the colors are there and when you browse to a different folder the colors disappear.

Color is used on file format, not on file extension

Yeah that is what I ment by the file type. So is there a bug or what? View files as list mode don't have those colors.

What are your file recognition settings? Are the browsed directories already in cache?

In list there is no file read, so colors can not be used
