Stripe of images: Automatic resize

Post by helmut »

It's really great to have the option "Resize automatically". This makes the "Stripe of images" (old: Panorama image) much more flexible and useful. :-) (Original topic: "Automatic resize when merging images").

By default, this option is "off", I strongly recommend to change the default to "on".

Greetings,

Helmut

Off is good

• Here, I disagree… If I want to rebuild a short comic while I have only the separate images, and I don't care the ticked option, the strip'll be to remake because many times the images are not equal at width, like you can see on this example.
- So, I would prefer to keep "Off" as the default.

Clo, the setting becomes only active if:
For horizontal stripes: Only height is adjusted.
For vertical stripes: Only width is adjusted.

So it really makes sense to have it active by default, otherwise the stripe of images will look pretty ugly and more like a zig-zag than a stripe.
