Disabling the 'Play movie' option in 'Options / View / File List' don't work.
But if I disable previw video files in the 'Options / browser / items displayed' it works just like if the 'Play movie' option in 'View / File List'
I think that disabling the video files from the previw in items displayed list should fully disable the videos in previw and not like it is now.
And the 'Play movie' option in 'Options / View / File List' should work like it has before.
Heh. This post came out confusing. Well hopefully somebody understand this.

When scan headers are not used. View>file list> play movie will partially work as expected. If your navigating directory, the file will be skipped over. But if you use thumbnail or scanheaders, then the new items displayed menu works here and the viewer's settings don't really do anything. "View>file list> play movie" is the type of redundant option I thought "Items displayed" was meant to replace.
I just notice that I have mixed the view and previw and now I so confused that my brain hurts. But I am pretty sure that there are something what isn't working like expected.

Yes, I'm aware of this bug.

No, the Play movie option in there is now old and needs to be removed.
The new "Items displayed" is the future for all previewing.

Pierre, for RC2 can we please have "Play movie" and Play sound" removed from Options -> View -> File List.
Keeping them we only create confusion for users.

Wait a second, these options are useful if you want to have videos displayed in Browser (also in preview), but not when jumping among files in View mode (still they can be opened directly from Browser).
Xyzzy, the options have been doubled up on and therefore useless.
Trust me on this, "Items displayed -> Show in Preview" will do the same job.

The File List version, was the original.
We've moved on now and improved things a great deal however the old structure still remains from what I can see and will cause problems like we're seeing now.
