I've been searching for an hour in this forum for the answer on how to get
Xnview to work in a single window mode.
If the answer to my question is still already out there, I apologize!
No matter what I open after Xnview is already opened, I want it to open in
the existing Xnview window in another tab next to the one I already opened earlier......
Can anyone help me out here, or is my wish just not possible?
Thanks in advance for your reply!!

I'm sorry, my English is not sufficient to explain my problem properly.xnview wrote:Sorry but i don't understand. You want to open in the same tab or in another tab?
Another attempt:
I want to open another picture in another tab in the same window.
So, is it possible to have multiple tabs, which have pictures that have been opened from outside Xnview, in 1 existing window??
Thanks again!!
Re: Single window mode.........
Almost........when I use this option a tab which is already open gets replaced by another picture (tab) which I open from outside Xnview (Windows explorer).xnview wrote:So perhaps the 'Only one instance' option
But you've put me on the right track!!
Disabling the option via Tools --> Options --> View --> "Open only one view for multiple files (startup & drag-drop)" does the trick I want!
Thank you all for your comments!!

I have the same issue, I can open multiple windows, but not 1 window with multiple tabs from an outside source (windows file explorer, Firefox, etc). I have tried the options above.
