Convert each page of a PDF to an image

Post by adam » Wed Aug 26, 2009 10:07 am

I found NConvert yesterday and have found it to be very useful.
However I cannot successfully convert each page of a PDF document to a series of images.
For example, I would like the output to be something like page01.jpg, page02.jpg, page03.jpg &c. From a PDF document.

I thought this could be achieved by doing something like this:
nconvert -out tiff -xall -o page##.tif MyFile.pdf
Or something similar with -out jpeg.

However when I do it, it will make each page:
page01.tif, page02.tif, page03.tif ... page17.tif
But each one is a copy of page01.tif.
This is not what the PDF looks like, each page is different.

I have NConvert v5.31 private version.
I have GhostScript installed.
The output from -fullinfo on the PDF file is:

MyFile.pdf : Success
Format : Portable Document Format
Name : pdf
Compression : Uncompressed
Width : 1190
Height : 841
Components per pixel : 3
Bits per component : 8
Depth : 24
# colors : 16777216
Color model : RGB
Bytes Per Plane : 3570
Orientation : Top Left
Xdpi : 72
Ydpi : 72
Page(s) : 17
Info:
DateTime: 2009:08:26 10:52:49
Software: GPL Ghostscript 8.64

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
