FileType numeric sorting

Post by Roccobot »

Hello there,

I really don't know if this is a 'feature request' or if I'm asking for something that XNView can do already..
Do anybody know how to get the correct numeric sorting (I meano with or without zero padding 0, 1, 2.. 10, 11..) for filetype sorting too?
I mean: I'd like to have my files sorted by type and to have them ordered correctly for every type. It's like 'sort by type' + 'sort by name (numeric)' togheter at same time. Is it possible?
Thank you

If you sort by type, you have not a numeric sort for same type??

:) Hello !

• I can confirm that issue : Here I've a series of JPGs, all numbered (according to the date, but as a single number, no space, no mark), and they aren't sorted following their numbers.
- This occurs with Sort by type or by extension as well, I tested as list and thumb nails, same mess…
- Aside : That works in TC (by extension) like Roccobot wishes… 8)
