It has been brought to my attention by a user about the slight visuals in recent XnShell
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=19015 . Nothing much really except I belive we came to an agreement on one to two minor things:
1. In the default 'no sub-menu' we agreed it could (too easy) be changed to "XnShell Options..." Without the adding of the semi-colon ":"
2. In all the foreign languages also add the prefix "XnShell" to the menu's text too (example. French lang)
3. In 'sub-menu without preview' try to change showing the text of 'image information' to show above the "XnShell" text and within the highligher too
http://i49.tinypic.com/tan761.png - this also means you could remove the semi-colon ":" in this menu choice also
4. In 'no sub-menu' also too make the 'image information' show under the menu highlighter too, so that it may look better when displayed with 'filename' - Otherwise you could instead consider making the 'image information' non clickable, would that be better?
5. In the Options window, you could consider adding hovering Tooltip info on only certain items or even better on all items.
6. ICON PATH feature - OK, I have been re-thinking that 'Icon's Path' featurehttp://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1144&start=150#p76674 that you agreed would make XnShell. I remeber you asked me where I thought it could go. In Stardock IconPackager, I could only use such feature from it's shell integration with the Windows 'Properties' window, However for XnShell you can agree that this won't be the same like that. So I have just drawn a good mock-up of how it could come about in XnShell (see below), remember it's for any icon seen on any file even if a file has no icon but generic Windows icon then the icon file path to this can still be fetched. Please re-examine how IconPackager does it:
I have drawn some great pictures for this after figuring it out.....
a) this can be the setting:

b) when right clicking on a standard XnShell supported image to preview in 'no sub-menu' it can show like this:

c) and then this context menu item will show when clicking on Any and All file extensions (that are not image pics to be shown):

d) And finally, the grand finale, THIS is what the actual program window could look like (very basic but powerful):
http://i47.tinypic.com/29l0os7.png ---- you could also make the filename clickable in this window that will run the file as normal (the file not the actual icon) and make highlighter for the clickable:
what do you think of everything?
