RC2: Scroll Offset

Post by OL »

My XnView's window is sized to fit exactly 4 rows of thumbnails. In version 1.74 I could use the *mousewheel* to scroll up/down and continuously have exactly 4 rows being displayed. Now the list gets shifted 1 pixel downward, which is annoying when you browse big folders.

Begining:

Scrolling down:

Still scolling:

Scrolling some more:

etc...

Hope that makes sense =)

PS. I'm not seeing this in Details mode, only in Thumbnails.

Strange, i have not changed. It's the system that scroll thumbnails view.

Yes that's strange!
It new and only affects the Thumbnails mode, so maybe it's related to the new Thumbnail Details feature?

The thumbnail view has not changed. The thing is that now that you see how "Thumbnails & Details" view nicely scrolls the pictures while the thumbnails stay at the same position all the time (no "shifting"). So it's the comparison that makes the "Thumbnail" view look buggy.

Maybe I was being confusing, the "Thumbnails details" I mentionned in my previous post was what Helmut rightly proposed to rename "Thumbnails label", not "View as Thumbnails & Details".
I have both Version 1.74 and RC2 installed so I'm 100% positive that they do not scroll the same! You certainly can't reproduce what's shown on my screenshots in V1.74

As written above, scroll behaviour of view "Thumbnails" has not changed. Closed.
