I'm not sure what you meant by "top scroll arrow in windows"
also, browser or viewer toolbar?

Think Andy means that the upper arrow of the scrollbar is hidden when hiding the toolbar.

This works for me. Which Windows version do you use? Did you try with default settings of XnView (rename the xnview.ini and then start XnView)?

Yes. Sorry, the top scroll arrow "button".

I'm using Win2K Pro.

I renamed the xnview.ini to oldxnview.ini. The problem doesn't occur immediately.

Here's the steps I take.

I used layout 3.
I hide the toolbar
I hide the folder tree
In the browser I select a picture into the preview.
Now I zoom-in the preview until the vertical scrollbar appears.
Everything is still OK.
Now double-click an image from the list.
Now zoom-in this window so the vertical scrollbar appears.
The top scroll arrow button disappears.
Showing the toolbar cntl-shft-T reveals the top scroll arrow button.
Hide the toolbar again and go back to the browse.
Re-zoom-in the preview.
The scroll bar button on the preview scrollbar is gone again.
Show the "Folder Tree" view and that scrollbar button is now missing.
Toggle the toolbar on and off.
"Now you see it, now you don't."

I tried changing display resolutions but it didn't help.

I can't reproduce your bug. Do you have a screenshot?
Pierre.

xnview,

Here are two screenshots, showing the problem as it appears in the brower's Preview pane.

File-List toolbar moves upward (like v.1.74) if 'Folder Tabs' option
is unflagged and toolbar is unflagged. File-List toolbar disappears
if 'Folder Tabs' option is flagged (as shown above) and toolbar is
unflagged.

If you have problems with tabs not reappearing, see following thread:

marsh,

Good catch! I was citing the toolbar as the cause.

Folder tabs come back on for me, no problem.

Well if Pierre says it's fixed, and if at least three persons (Pierre, you and I) can reproduce in RC1 but not in RC2, then it's fairly safe to assume that it's ok for everyone. Just speeding up the process :D
