The same issue with the thumbnail/tree toolbar mentioned in the following thread occurs with 1.80RC1:

The graphic anomaly seems worse in version 1.80 than 1.74
And, the anomaly contains clickable buttons.

Mystery buttons: Enter browser mode. Put list on right, preview on left,
disable folder tree. Now on startup, mysterious clickable buttons which
look like graphic anomalies appear in preview window (upper left).

OK is this fixed? I can't tell since I've never seen this bug.

Its fixed. For those who want to see what it was: disable folder tree and put
preview on left in RC1.

I disabled folder tree and switched to Layout 3, yet no bug. glad it's fixed anyhow :)
