Request: On enter folder behaviors

In MP currently (0.34) no image is selected when entering a folder in the browser.

Please implement (at least) that MP selects the first image (in the file list) when the user enters a folder.

A useful alternative would be to offer a setting with which the user could choose from the following behaviors upon entering a folder:

• (•) Select first image
  ( ) Select last image
  ( ) Do nothing

Or done by rule without option: if first item is image - show it (otherwise do nothing).

Sorry, but I have tested extensively and can observe no change in behavior (when entering a folder) between version 0.35 and 0.38.

On the other hand, the addition of ratings etc. to the filter dropdown is most welcome!

Thanks Marsh, I must have looked at that option 10 times without seeing it. Perhaps the default value should be "On"...

I agree. That favors an image viewer over organizer behavior (toward which I wish the overall purpose of program does not weigh too heavily).
