exiftool how can i send photos to exiftool with command line

how can i send photos to exiftool with command line?

i read the help web site , did not find an answer

did play with xnview did not find the feature to use exiftool

Which version? I just installed 1.97.8 and have no exiftool.exe ...
Maybe a relic of other installations?

The Windows version of XnViewMP comes with the stand-alone executable of ExifTool (\AddOn\exiftool.exe).
