Batch Rename - if "Create new name template when opening dialog" is enabled, # for the first number is used, if I double click to the first row/file, # for the last nubmer is used.
Example:
BMW 530i 2004 001 - original
BMW ###i 2004 001 - if "Create new name template when opening dialog" is enabled
BMW 530i 2004 ### - if I double click to the first row/file
I think the 2nd way is better and should be used also for "Create new name template when opening dialog".

Re: [Fixed?] RC2: Minor suggestion for Batch Rename "#&
Fixed in RC3, but - (minor) - "Start number" is not taken from the last number as if I double click to the first row/file.Dreamer wrote:BMW 530i 2004 001 - original

Re: [Fixed?] RC2: Minor suggestion for Batch Rename "#&
If i dbl click on such file "BMW 530i 2004 101 - original.jpg", so template will be "BMW 530i 2004 ### - original.jpg", and start number 101.Dreamer wrote:Fixed in RC3, but - (minor) - "Start number" is not taken from the last number as if I double click to the first row/file.Dreamer wrote:BMW 530i 2004 001 - original

you have not the same?

No this works good but...xnview wrote:If i dbl click on such file "BMW 530i 2004 101 - original.jpg", so template will be "BMW 530i 2004 ### - original.jpg", and start number 101.

...if "Create new name template when opening dialog" is enabled and I select few files, press F2, then "Start number" is not taken from the last number of the first file/image.
Of course this is really a small bug but sometimes you need to rename e.g.:
image 001.jpg
image 003.jpg
image 005.jpg
image 008.jpg
image 009.jpg
...if you removed some images between to:
image 001.jpg
image 002.jpg
image 003.jpg
image 004.jpg
image 005.jpg
