That looks good for thumbs only... easily identifiable!

Thank you for the replies and the creation of the 'new tab' icon. Thanks also for creation of 'thumbs only' icon which is what I also commonly use in my file-manager app Xyplorer

yep :) 16x and 24x sizes as with most or/ all your other existing icons.
mezich wrote: As I see, by default xnView show animated GIF's as movie and ICO as separated frames. Sorry buy I don't understand profit of your suggestion. Why I need to turn off 'movie mode' for GIF and turn on 'autoplay' for ICO ?
No no, I will explain again; For animated GIF's the proposed icon would allow fast switching between 'movie mode' (default) and 'frames mode' - this is what I always meant and wanted to do as a button.

...You see currently to do this in Xnview-win I have to use the hotkey shift+pageUp/pageDown to display the animated GIF as 'frames' but If I wanted to display it as a 'movie' again I have to refresh the display by using hotkey ctrl+r . That is why an icon button is required which would basically do the exact same switching (all-in-one) that is already there in Xnview but just at the press of a single button. I apologize if I gave you confusion earlier in explaining all this.

Summary: 'Multipage' icon on toolbar = fast switching between 'movie mode' and 'frames mode' of animated GIF.

I also originally suggested that the icon, if created, be positioned in the middle of the current 'next/prev page' icons, I had the Firefox 'next/prev webpage' icon;

Do you agree? (forget the book metaphor)

BTW: Forget what my original mentioning of Icon files, since Icon support within this feature would require more work... But yes, this feature would work with Animated GIF's/apng/jif's first! :D

If you agreed on the 'Multipage' request then here's an idea for another metaphor for the design of that icon;

Pierre, John and anyone else - what do you think of my 'Multipage' button idea?

Remember as I've explained the functionality that the 'Multipage' button would do is already there with viewing animated GIF's by method of shift+pageUp/pageDown with ctrl+r hotkeys. Please support +1

MP also needs:

"First file", "Last file" (These should be real easy)

"Refresh" (Ditto)

"JPEG lossless transformations" (Borrow from XnView 1.9x)

"Hide titlebar"

Hi again,

I made a topic suggesting to Pierre and other readers that the 'copy pathname' in XnView MP should be renamed/replaced and better improved here; http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=21664

I also suggested an icon could later be created for it. I took the liberty of creating this mock-up icon here:
Image
(hehe :P I made this 24x24 all by myself lol using XYplorer's 'p' icon and this picture)
If you could recreate this icon for 'copy path', that would be great.

I got the inspiration from XYplorer's 'copy path icon' toolbar icon which is the same 'P' logo icon metaphor. P = path.

So a 16x16 and 24x24 for this icon, if Pierre agrees.

For me 'copy path' should looks like current 'copy' with two papers, but one paper in front with tree folders on it.
Second variant is front paper is black with 'c:\>' on it.

Yes! This variant sounds the nicest :) Would you make it please in 16x and 24x?

EDIT:
In fact I know why you would opt for black (with 'c:\>' on it) because the black represents DOS right? What do you think on making that black rather as a blue with rgb color 61,116,207 - or you wanna stick to black?

btw second thing, where you stand on that 'Multipage' icon? Pierre did agreed
