It seems 2.49.5 fixed this bug but one question, what is the b4bit plugin for? It seems there is no 64bit XnView.

Do you mean XnView.ini? There is no HEIC in plugins section. Do I need to add one? How to do this? In XnView browser, yes I can browse to the HEIC file and open it. But if I directly double click the HEIC file in Windows Explorer, it will not open the HEIC file. In stead, it only brings up the XnView browser.

For jpg or other format file I can double click it in Windows Explorer to open it in XnView.
