Or
this one?

So i change higlighting like preview separator?
I like it a lot! Even if only for preview seperator. It helps discover function and looks nice.

ß-6: On the seperator between preview|file list: new highlighting is not visible in layout #3 when tree pane is disabled.

I don't like the highlighting. It's irritating if a large area "blinks" if you happen to move the mouse on a specific area. See post in
Thinner separators, and double-click.
As Clo has pointed out the arrow symbol should be really full red when moving the mouse on it. (currently most of it is red but one part remains light blue).

A full red symbol is not good, i've tested

Liver ?

Hello Pierre !
• Hum… Problems with your liver ?
- I don't see what could be bad using
this
versus
that
• All these issues come from the implementation
in the splitters, while my very first proposal was to set these buttons in the
fixed parts of the panes, like it's in my HTML editor I showed as an example
IN THIS OLD THREAD …
… where I said clearly :
…I use a HTML editor (by a programmer-friend) which has a narrow high button on the frame of the tree to show¦hide it…

Hi !
…currently most of it is red but one part remains light blue…
• Ho, no ! Only
nine pixels
/ 25 are red ! You can check this on the pic below :
- So, just a few more than a third of the arrow !
- When I said "
the half", I have been optimistic !

Why isn't the full red symbol not good? In Clo's sample drafts above it looks good to me.

Red arrow seems bigger in RC1. And frame highlighting problem was fixed.

Yes, the red arrow is bigger, now.
But I'd say this is still not 100% correct, because the blue arrow still does not get fully red when highlighting. And it touches the border. To correct this, simply remove the blue pixels that are currently used in the highlighted version of the button. This applies for all four directions.
Can other people please verify & confirm?
Not full red

Thank you for checking, Clo! I think the upper most blue line of pixel should be removed (background colour) or should be in a darker/lighter red. But not blue.

• Indeed ! Below, with a darker¦lighter largest rank :
• Note : My pics here will always look better because they have an anti-aliasing on the edges,
this makes that the arrow
seems larger…

Nice screenshots. Both drafts look better than what we currently have, I think. Looking at your screenshots I wonder what it would look like if the top blue pixels were just removed or the normal red would be used.
@Clo: Could you please make two more drafts? That would help making a decision.

• Again…
- Below, the arrow as full normal red (left), like I shown above already,
at right
without the largest red rank :
