SUGGESTION

Add the (.ico) format to the Convert Into context menu for this plugin. That would make it much easier to convert pictures and graphics into icons.

All the installer does is use "regsvr32.exe" to register the DLL into the registry using the folder the DLL is sitting in so using any folder is fine as long as it's registered into the registry.

BTW, I'm using the new XnView shell extension 1.4.0.0 beta.

Hi,

is it possible to ad an about box to the shell extention?
Or is there any other (easy) way to retrieve the version of the program?

That was what I thought about in the first place 8-) ...

but in the meanwhile I've checked out the 1.4.0 beta and think now, that as long as the shell extention related menu items show up in the contect menu directly, one should refrain to add more (at least such as "about").

On the other hand, moving the shell extention related menu entries to a submenu and using the picture size line as entry point to it, would allow for a much tidier context menu.
In the sub menu an entry for evoking the about box would be very nice.
