Same here. I cannot seem to be able to select the "Original" (the one displayed in the left part of the window) to be deleted, only the one from the right (or any other one). Pretty useless this way.

I agree here. I also would be very grateful for an option to delete the original file in this dialog.
The find duplicates dialog is a great and useful thing and works fine for me, but the mentioned feature is the only thing I really miss here.
As XnView can't know which image(s) of the found 'quite similar image-group' I want to keep, I might want to delete the original and not the duplicate(s).
So I hope you can add this somehow, Pierre

I sure do need dupe killer also. Xnview looked VERY nice, and included duplicate finder. But no, it is not usable
I noticed that ACDSee has also dupefinder, somehow quite clever one... Even it has also some problems.
But it is nice idea to find duplicates under "directorys list 1, recursive" and "directorys list 2, also recursive" ... And then one just selects "mark all duplicates in list 2 for remove.

The latest alternate
beta version now has delete/zoom buttons under image.

Search by similarity seems faster with default setting also.
