Sorry, not fixed in beta 2.
When I start slide show from file manager or explorer, focus is still on fm/explorer and the taskbar item with xnview is blinking in orange. There are two xnview taskbar items, perhaps this is a problem?

Hmm.. OK, so that working version was with console, perhaps this is why the new version is not working if you have not changed anything else.
Anyway, moved to Bug reports.
