The arrows are only shown when toolbar is not fully visible...

Really strange, I have that bug if I don't have all buttons marked under Options>Toolbars>Buttons Displayed>Image view (or Browser).

Try to unmark few or more buttons there.

Edit: important...

Problem is (also in Viewer) About button, if I mark that button it works good.

Main problem (red) is fixed -> Closed.

"Arrow problem" (green) is discussed in topic "RC3: Small arrow at the right of the toolbar".

"Icon problem" (yellow) is discussed in topic "Unnecessary icon in menubar".
