Please check XnViewMP 0.31
I switched back to lossy thumbs and encountered NO issues.
Fixed.

No, not fixed. I did not have any problems with 0.30, but I did get it with 0.31 with the very first folder that was opened. 
I use lossy, high quality.

I erased the db-file and I can not reproduce anymore.
