Do you start XnView with admin rights?xn_kaan wrote:Hi,
The same problem - XnView 1.98.8, Win7 x64 - i've got error messages "ERR5, msg1, OK" when try to set file associations. Is there any solution for this problem?
Thanks.
upd: Before I have installed new version I try to set associations using old version (1.91.5) which I copied from my old PC.
Yes, I do. This do not solve the problem. BTW I try later to do the same with XNViewMP (I've run 'Associate files with XnViewMP.exe' with adm rights) - it said that there is error and suggest to run program with adm right although it already had adm rights. Actually it set associations for some formats, but not for all - it seems that this tool set associations for formats, which I didn't try to use with XNView before.xnview wrote:Do you start XnView with admin rights?

Yes, previous version didn't set associations at all, that is why I decide to try new version.xnview wrote:And do you had problem with previous version?
