If you use only on one computer, better to not use it
When I removed 'base folder' it actually damaged my categories, like they all disappeared.
yes, you need to relocate files in database in this case
So I cleared catalog and added folders back. But now files with keywords are funny, they show up with category filter, but there is no category in the tooltip or in categories checkboxes, but there is in Info > XMP.
you means that categories of files are not correctly imported in catalog?

why? And perhaps you had previous entry in the database
