I did get it to show up in XnView by installing the 32bit version but I think my problem might now be the file size I am trying to work on being too big for that plugin.

The images I'm working on are 19200 x 9600 and around 25mb JPEG (approx 500Mb in Photoshop).

Thanks for the suggestion, it was worth a try.

I need to batch convert hundreds of these images at a time which is why I wanted to try and do it using XnConvert. It takes quite a long time in Photoshop to batch them all.

Photoshop-compatible filters can't be used in batch processing anyway. So I hope your suggestion will eventually be implemented.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I can confirm that this is now working.
