Any misnamed jpg causes problem. Problem occurs whith beta1 defaults also. v.1.74 does not have problem. Maybe its on Win2k only?helmut wrote: No chance to reproduce this. [x]Recognize by extension
[ ]Scan file headers - Never
[ ]Cache thumbnail- off
[ ]Read Ahead- off
[ ]Cache behind- off
Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer

Restart Xnview by browsing ms explorer folder containing "misnamedjpg.png".
